Hi, my name is Forest! I was fortunate to be raised as an ethical vegetarian from birth, and experienced firsthand the benefits of whole-food, plant-based nutrition without ever having consumed meat, fish, or eggs. As I entered adulthood and my passion for health and fitness grew, I learned more about the profound impact our diet and lifestyle choices can have on our personal wellbeing, as well as that of the planet and the animals. I adopted a fully vegan lifestyle in 2015, and haven’t looked back since! From an ethical, environmental, and health perspective, I believe that veganism is truly the way of the future, and the most responsible choice we can make as conscientious citizens of the Earth.

The desire to challenge myself and to represent vegan fitness at a competitive level motivated me to become a member of the Vegan Strong PlantBuilt Team, the largest organization of vegan athletes in the world. I realized a lifelong dream by stepping onto a bodybuilding stage for the first time at the Naturally Fit Super Show in June of 2017, where I won first place in my class against a stacked lineup of meat-eating competitors. Since then I have gone on to compete in natural bodybuilding several more times in both the US and Australia, earning multiple podium finishes as a drug-free vegan athlete.

Over the last 20 years of my fitness journey, I’ve dedicated my life to learning, practicing, and refining the art and science of evidence-based training and plant-based nutrition. My professional credentials include certification in Personal Training from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, certification in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, and certification in Nutrition Coaching from Renaissance Periodization.

At Forest Nash Fitness, I am proud to deliver high-caliber, fully personalized, evidence-based training and nutrition coaching. I don’t sell cookie-cutter plans, fitness "hacks," or outlandish claims of losing 5 kilos in your first week. Instead, I provide systematic, science-backed strategies to help you achieve your goals as efficiently as possible, along with the tools and support you need to maintain your results for a lifetime.

Leading by example is one of my core values, and I enjoy breaking stereotypes and promoting the vegan movement as a strong, fit, plant-based role model. I find it very fulfilling to use the knowledge and experience I’ve gained from a lifetime as a plant-based athlete to help like-minded people get in the best shape of their lives in a way that is healthy, sustainable, and aligned with their values.
