How do I get started?
The best way to get started is to book a free 30-minute initial consultation. This will give us an opportunity to chat and get acquainted (either in-person or over the phone), discuss your background and fitness goals, and map out your personalized plan of action!
What do I need for online coaching?
You will need a reliable internet connection, and computer, tablet, or smartphone with a working microphone. Depending on your goals, you may also need access to resistance training equipment — usually via a gym membership or a home gym.
Where are sessions held?
Personal training sessions are held at Doherty’s Gym in Brunswick and/or Athletique Health Club in Preston. Online coaching sessions are conducted via phone or video call and can be attended from the comfort of your own home!
What should I bring to the gym?
Bring a small towel, water bottle, and active-wear that you feel comfortable in and allows you to move freely. I recommend sturdy athletic shoes with trackies, shorts, or leggings, and a t-shirt, singlet, or jumper.
What are the session/package rates? What payment methods do you accept?
Session rates can be found on the Services page. Payment can be made by cash, bank transfer, or via PayPal for online clients.
What if I'm not currently vegan or vegetarian? What if I'm totally new to fitness?
No worries! I am happy to work with people from all walks of life, as long they have the desire to improve their health and are open to including more whole plant foods in their diet. Feel free to send me a message with any questions or concerns about your specific situation.
